On the first weekend of November the mulled wine season opens in Radebeul — and it opens across the whole town at once. On 7 and 8 November 2026 more than 40 partners open their courtyards and cellars: wineries, Straußwirtschaften, restaurants, hotels, museums and cultural venues. Every stop does its own thing: mulled wine tastings, guided walks, goose bratwurst and Quarkbällchen, live music, readings, fire bowls.
The decentralised format is what makes it. There is no festival ground; the event spreads from the village green in Altkötzschenbroda up to the wineries on the slope and on to the illuminated Schloss Wackerbarth. A free shuttle bus runs between the venues on both days, organised by stop — from Radebeul Ost station via Hoflößnitz and Wackerbarth out to the Naundorfer Weinstube.
For families there is biscuit baking, candle dipping, face painting and Knüppelkuchen over the fire. Schloss Wackerbarth lights up its grounds under the motto „Wein & Licht“. The event goes back to the Radebeul working group „Wein & Genuss“.
